Cappello Di Prete "Candido" '05 (Puglia)
Lovely nose, intense and well balanced ruby red richly perfumed, full-bodied, well structured, soft and warm blackberry with some coffee and chocolate note. Produced from 100% Negroamaro grapes. (13.5% vol). £17.95

Carignano Del Sulcis "Grotta Rossa" '08 (Sardinia)
Rich, ripe nose, almost perfumed wine with a delicious creamy character on the palate and bags of soft ripe blackcurrant fruit. Made from the usual Carignano grapes (13.5% vol). £16.95

Salice Salentino Riserva "Candido" '05 (Puglia)
This riserva is full of baked wild berry fruit and is smooth and subtle on the palate. Made with 80% Negroamaro and 20% Malvasia Nera grapes. A garnet red colour with brick red highlights. Intense and fragrant bouquet giving a full, yet balanced taste. (13.5% vol). £16.95

Sangiovese Rubicone (Emilia-Romagna)
Medium bodied, may be light on weight but is a long on flavour, dry but fruity wine. Dark ruby colour with a purple tint. Has a powerful nose of pleasantly bitter cherries back taste. (11% vol). £13.75

Chianti Classico Carpineto '08 (Tuscany)
Full bodied, complex and fruit aroma of black cherries and violets, with a round supple tannin structure and a long persistent, clean finish
. Aged in large oak barrels. (13% vol). £16.75

Opel Ridge Shiraz Cabernet '08
Blend of Shiraz and Carbernet Sauvignon from three Australian premium grape growing regions. A young soft, fresh and smooth wine. Aromas of spice, violet and black pepper with undertones of chocolate and black cherry

Torbato Algherese "Sella e Mosca" (Sardinia)
Dry, fresh, crisp and flavourful, with a naturally assertive and pleasing acidity, complemented by nuances of vanilla derived from oak ageing
. This is the only white wine in the Sella & Mosca range to undergo oak ageing prior to bottling. 100% Torbato grapes. (11% vol). £14.95

Pinot Grigio "Veritiere" '09 (Veneto)
A wonderful smooth and dry wine, it has hints of light citrus and the delicate floral aromas are complemented by hints of tropical fruit flavours and a refreshing finish
. The wine is full bodied, with a pleasantly soft palate and a long finish. From 100% Pinot Grigio grapes. (12% vol). £14.95

Marlborough Sounds
Tuatara Bay New World Sauvignon Blanc '10
A great example of the punchy and vibrant style of Sauvignon Blanc from NZ. Rich on the palate with fresh citrus flavours, classic gooseberry flavours and a touch of sweetness to balance the acidity. The wine is named after the Tuatara lizard which is related to both snakes and lizards and lives on Stephen's Islands in the Marlborough Sounds overlooking the vineyards.
